Slide Puzzle
puzzleSlide Puzzle is a free online sliding-tile game with solvable 3×3, 4×4, 5×5, and 6×6 boards. Arrange every numbered tile in order, beat the target move count, earn up to three stars, and chase a better personal record.
How to play
Choose a board size, then tap any tile in the blank space’s row or column to slide it — and every tile between it and the blank — into position. You can also swipe on the board or use the arrow keys. Arrange the numbers from 1 upward with the empty space in the final bottom-right position. Shuffle creates a new solvable board, while Same board restarts the current arrangement so you can improve your route.
Tips
- Start with 3×3 to learn the movement pattern, then move up to 4×4, 5×5, or 6×6 for longer solves.
- Tapping a distant tile in the blank’s row or column slides multiple tiles and counts each tile movement toward your score.
- The green-tinted tiles are already in their correct positions, but you may need to move them temporarily to finish the board.
- Finish at or below par for three stars; moderate over-par solves earn two stars, and every valid completion earns at least one.
- Your best move count and completion time for each board size, plus your sound preference, save in this browser.
